The CSI HOY competition year is Nov 1st through Oct 31st of the following year
Placings for Sporthorse In-Hand awards are calculated based on percentages earned. HOY results are based on high percentage for each division. Minimum score of 58% or higher to qualify.
The divisions available will be for young stock (under 3 years of age as of January 1st of the competition year) and mature horses (3 years or over on January 1st of the competition year).
Shows & classes that qualify: Classes must be Federation Recognized Dressage Sport Horse Breeding Division Classes or equivalent. The clases must be “open”, meaning not restricted by breed, size, performance, membership in any registry or club, age or status of handler (excluding Amateur or Jr handler classes). The Judge for said show must be Federation Recognized Dressage Sport Horse Breeding Judge or equivalent..
A minimum of 3 scores per horse must be submitted to qualify for HOY awards. Dressage sport horse score sheets must be postmarked no later than 15 days of the show date to qualify towards this award.
